Results Driven Agriculture Research (RDAR)
Results Driven Agriculture Research (RDAR) is the largest producer-guided funder of Agriculture Research in Alberta. Their priority is to provide the resources that enable producers in Alberta to transform the Agriculture industry through results-based innovation and research. Their work strengthens the industry by collaborating with partners, such as Farming Forward, to deliver cutting-edge information that lead to the greatest economic and environmental positive impact. Farming Forward is proud to be affiliated with RDAR and works diligently in delivering on our shared priorities.
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada selected RDAR to deliver the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF). Producers can access funding to adopt Beneficial Management Practices based on 3 priorities: Improving Nitrogen Management, Increasing Adoption of Cover Cropping, and Expanding the Adoption of Rotational Grazing.
